Come Play In Our Interactive Sandbox
The Museum of Rexburg has a sandbox for kids to play in, complete with plastic construction equipment. But this is no ordinary sandbox. It has a projector above it that shows the topographic layers of the sandbox. It changes with the movement of the sand too, so the dips and trenches fill with “water.”
It’s hands-on fun and learning for both kids and adults and it helps teach about the Teton Flood. It reminds us of how the people of Rexburg joined together to clear water, mud and debris out of their beautiful city and made it shine once again.
