MUSEUM OF REXBURG FINAL DAY AT CURRENT LOCATION IS DECEMBER 15, 2023!
December 15th, 2023 is the final day for the Museum of Rexburg (aka the Rexburg Flood Museum) to call the Rexburg Tabernacle home.
For the last 42 years, the museum has called our historic civic center home, but big changes are coming to the building, and with that are exciting plans for the Museum of Rexburg. We can all look forward to a Teton Dam Flood exhibit and regular showings of the story of the Flood moving to the Romance Theater in January. We also look forward to hosting rotating exhibits at City Hall in the near future. Be sure to follow the City of Rexburg, Rexburg Arts, and the Museum of Rexburg on social media for all the fun updates and offerings heading our way! We invite you to visit the museum in its current location while you still can! Hours are M, Th, F, Sat: 11 am – 3 pm or by appointment.
About Us
The Museum of Rexburg: Home of the Teton Flood Exhibit houses a collection of artifacts from Rexburg and surrounding areas. After the Teton Flood in 1976, the Rexburg Tabernacle was heavily damaged and had to undergo major renovations. In 1981 the Museum of Rexburg was established in the basement of the Tabernacle.
